Running over three days, Beacons Metro returns to Canal Mills, Leeds this November, bringing with it a lineup that boasts some of the best in the business, with headlining performances coming from funk and dance mergers Jungle, unique multi-layered quartet Little Dragon and the Godfather of grime, Wiley. Neo soul pioneering collective Jungle offer a nostalgic 70s funk style sound with their own modern twist; with stand out singles ‘Busy Earnin’ and ‘The Heat’, Jungle are guaranteed to get feet moving. Having been together for over two decades, Swedish band Little Dragon have managed to break through to the UK scene with their alternative mix of R&B beats, synth pop loops and ethereal vocals, taking the likes of Glastonbury by storm and gaining a massive fanbase in the process. The grand finale sees an artist who doesn't need much of an introduction, but the Godfather of grime title will promise an explosive closing party to this year’s proceedings as Boy Better Know member Wiley will be spitting bars from his extensive back catalogue and if you’re lucky, he may treat his audience to new ones from his new album set for release next February.
Joining them on the line up, grime star and cousin of Stormzy Nadia Rose as well as emcee Novelist, London eight piece Superorganism, Dornik, Com Truise, Pauli LoveJoy, 67, Pixx and Makeness.
