Brotherhood have pulled a sterling pair of Autumn bookings, with Kon, Tama Sumo and Lakuti all set to play Wire. Starting with Kon, Lucy Locket and resident selectors on Saturday 30th September, the Brotherhood team will build on the success of their season opener with Tom Blip before handing over to Berlin tastemakers Tama Sumo and Lakuti, who are both booked in for Friday 27th October.
A Monday night opener saw Wire at full capacity when Tom Blip came to town, and with disco edit specialist Kon booked in for the end of the month, that success is likely to continue. Supported by the unbelievable talents of Love Muscle resident Lucy Locket and new Brotherhood resident Tami, Kon will show off the spoils of digging sessions which started way back in 1976, meaning he’s got four decades worth of the best records in his arsenal.
October’s outstanding booking will see Berghain and Panorama Bar stars Tama Sumo and Lakuti at the helm, the duo both stopping by for a momentous Halloween party. Easily two of Germany’s most respected selectors, Tama Sumo and Lakuti deal in the very finest house, techno, disco and more, spreading their net as far as they can reach but never drawing in anything other than pure quality music. Up there with the most exciting bookings to hit Leeds this year, Brotherhood have delivered some glistening gems again with these two.
