House duo Camelphat have been deemed as an act that are on a need-to-know basis by Rolling Stone magazine. The pair, Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala, have been producing just short of a decade, but having studied the art scrupulously and completely immersed themselves into the world of dance music, they’ve managed to perfect their production of timeless and authentic house music. Rolling Stone describe their sound as “Crushing modern house melodic enough to keep you on the dance floor until last call” and that’s an accurate depiction of the duo, who have managed to gain chart-topping hits and managed to captivate dancefloors all over the globe.
CamelPhat have a busy New Year’s Eve ahead, as they’ll be taking to both London’s Electric Brixton for the ANTS NYE Takeover and will also be taking to Sheffield’s Code Venue for Muzik’s massive New Year’s celebrations. Next year, the pair are headed to Malta for Annie Mac curated festival Lost and Found, which takes place from Thursday 3rd May and continues through until Monday 7th.
