A man of many names and identities, the eclectic and versatile producer and DJ Dan Snaith is back under his Caribou moniker following a hiatus since his 2014 release ‘Our Love’. Although the music maker has been releasing politically charged tracks under his Daphni alias, the corners of the Caribou world have remained quiet, until now. Releasing his first track in five years, ‘Home’ premiered on BBC Radio One as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The World, and with good reason, too, as the track - which centres around a soulful sample of Gloria Barnes’ 70s single of the same name - features a slung back tempo set by the juxtaposed drum sounds with a disjointed string melody layered on top of slow and sultry plucks of guitar. This track is delivered just as Caribou brings the news of brand new shows for spring of 2020, which features a date at Leeds’ O2 Academy this April.
