With Farr Festival now less than two weeks away, a new mix to get us warmed up was just the prelude we needed, and the New Zealand duo Chaos In The CBD have delivered with a dreamy hour of early-doors material for XLR8R. Moving through jazz, cosmic disco, emotive breaks and a dash of the deep, rhythmic house that they’ve come to specialise in, the pair showed a variety of influences to demonstrate why they’ve been so lauded since moving to London in 2012.



With an astounding lineup featuring Helena Hauff, Omar-S, Todd Terje, Tama Sumo, Honey Dijon, Mister Saturday Night and plenty more, choosing who to see at Farr is going to be a difficult prospect, but Chaos In The CBD have definitely thrown their name into the hat with this latest mix. The festival takes place at Bygrave Woods in Hertfordshire from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th July.
