Newcastle’s Concept10 have announced the full lineup for the Module 5th Birthday event at Boiler Shop, and it’s going to be huge thanks to esteemed guests Jackmaster and Theo Kottis. Set to light up the unique arts space on Sunday 28th May on bank holiday weekend, the party will be another example of why Concept10 are so highly regarded in the North East.
Easily one of the best loved selectors around, Glaswegian firework Jackmaster has made a name for himself as a DJ who can go anywhere; techno, house, disco, garage, RnB and anything else that kicks like a mule could end up strung together in a Jackmaster set, with the Numbers boss famed for his cross-genre party sets and extraordinary versatility. As surprising as they are banging, his sets are full to brim with the kind of tracks that has people reaching for Shazam en mass, bringing the rabid excitement of his hometown’s Sub Club with every single selection.
Second in command, Theo Kottis has held down residencies at Sub Club and Edinburgh’s Cabaret Voltaire, specialising in melodious techno of the emotional kind. Carving out contoured journeys through driving rhythms and protean instrumental landscapes, Theo has proven himself an exhilarating DJ and an engaging composer, so he makes an excellent choice as Jackmaster’s main accomplice at Boiler Shop. The lineup is completed by local selectors Paul T and Matty Robson b2b Jonny Burn.
Pre-sale tickets are now on sale. General sale tickets go on sale at 10am on Thursday 27th April.
