Newcastle’s Boiler Shop will be receiving visits from some huge name DJs in February and March, and all thanks to the new Concept10 series that has brought together Do Not Sleep, Hospitality and more big brands from the dance music world.
With two February shows presenting the likes of Skream and Hannah Wants already sold out, Geordie dancers will be relieved to hear that tickets are still available for three consecutive Fridays in March, the first of which sees Darius Syrossian bring Matthias Tanzmann and Josh Butler to toon on March 3rd. The former Sankeys resident is one of house and techno’s true devotees, and he’ll be happy to have secured deep and tech house specialist Tanzmann to headline his show at Boiler Shop, particularly with fellow Leeds boy Josh Butler in support.
Moving on a week and it’ll be a drum and bass affair on the 10th, with Danny Byrd, Dimension, DJ Hazard and S.P.Y. guesting for Hospitality. Again in collaboration with Rub a Dub Dub, who also host Hannah Wants on the 24th of February and My Nu Leng, AC Slater and Kry Wolf on Friday 17th March, the night will see some of DnB’s biggest artists arriving in Newcastle in one neat package, making the Hospitality night a clear highlight of Newcastle’s clubbing calendar this spring. With nights like these you can expect Boiler Shop to be one of the city’s main gathering spots for music fans this year.
