There’s good content and then there’s Danny Brown doing an interview whilst eating increasingly spicy chicken wings good content; the former is a relatively abundant commodity, the latter so rare that it came into existence only yesterday. Joining the YouTube channel First We Feast for twenty minutes of chilli sauce-induced cackling and hilarious anecdotes, the Detroit MC discussed his love of cats, left-field menu choices and how illicit pick n mix made him everyone’s favourite party starter at Bonnaroo Festival. Throw in a battle with the infamous Blair’s “Mega Death” sauce and what you’ve got, my friend, is some mighty fine content.
Danny Brown is one of a big group of hip hop artists booked in for Parklife Festival in Manchester this summer, with the likes of Anderson .Paak, A Tribe Called Quest and more joining him as representatives of the genre on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June. Also featuring artists from a breadth of other genres, Parklife will be headlined by RnB crooner Frank Ocean and local rock sensations The 1975.
