Bank holidays are always an excuse for a party, so when one of the UK’s leading electronic music labels plays host to a near unbeatable lineup the night before a Monday off, it’s a definite cause for celebration. On May 6, Defected, who are celebrating reaching an impressive 30 years as an independent label this year, bring the best in house to the 21st century at the electronic music world to the Art’s Club. Across three stages that take over the entirety of the renowned Liverpool venue, Defected’s own Dutch producer Franky Rizardo, northern resident-come-international star Josh Butler and bass house dueller Low Steppa take the helm in the main room - offering their unique and danceable sounds to a scouse crowd, while Mark Dickson, Mike Mac, Köle, Dilli, Simon Morford F.R.E.D, Back Of The Knee, Jack Cowdrey, J.D, Sophia Essel and more will also be on hand. With the loft and one of the bars also being used as dancefloors, this Defect takeover is going to be a special affair.
