Arcadia’s 10th anniversary festival will carry plenty of heat, with RAM Records bringing Delta Heavy, Bad Company, DC Breaks, Killbox and plenty more DnB stars to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday 6th May. The second part of a two day Arcadia takeover, the Sunday also boasts Rudimental, Noisia and TQD, with RAM taking over the brand new immersive arena for their special showcase.
Few institutions in drum and bass hold more clout than Andy C’s RAM Records, so the announcement of an enviable crowd of artists for the Arcadia showcase shouldn’t come as too much of a shock. Bringing Bensley, Chords, Rene LaVice, Loadstar and Mind Vortex to the mysterious new Arcadia structure for a guns blazing day of music, RAM will this time show off the new generation, with the lineup representing some of the most exciting fresh talents around.
It’s not only the stars of the future that RAM are interested in, though, with Ed Rush and Optical celebrating 20 years of Virus and kings of the old skool Bad Company also throwing in their weight as the label seek to steal the show from the likes of Bassboy, Jubilee, Preditah, Rudimental and TQD over in the famous Arcadia Spider structure. With more details of the new venue still to come, it looks like London is in for a real treat this Easter.
