The ANTS Easter Thursday takeover of O2 Academy Brixton was already going to be a large affair with Groove Armada as headliners, but the addition of Eats Everything has pushed it beyond all doubt. King of thumpy party bangers, the Bristolian is well-known for being one of the biggest DJs that the UK underground has cooked up over the last few years, and is certain to make up the minds of anyone still umming and ahhing about whether to follow ANTS to Brixton on Thursday 13th April.
A dealer in dub frequencies, house beats and earworm vocals, Eats Everything has plenty of techno, dubstep and house up his sleeves and yet still finds room for smatterings of disco, so it’s no wonder that his sets are so widely enjoyed across European clubs and festivals. Specialising in classy tech and house with plenty of party bounce, Groove Armada make very suitable companions, and so ANTS ought to be fairly confident that the second London instalment of their world tour is going to be another wild night.
