Fatima Yamaha will take to Bristol’s Marble Factory on Wednesday 7th February for a midweek live set, and you can bet it’ll get quite some reception. A festival favourite thanks to atmospheric journeys like his hit track “What’s A Girl To Do?”, the producer will play in the smaller part of the mammoth Motion venue.
Dutch producer Bas Bron became a household name in 2015 when his first release on Dekmantel became one of the biggest deep house hits of the year, over a decade after it had initially been released on Ireland’s D1 Recordings. Featuring slowly plodding synth lines that amble between an earworm hook, the track got rinsed in sets near and far, turning a sample of Scarlett Johansson taken from Lost In Translation into a dancefloor staple. Mesmeric and warm, the track offers a great representation of the rippling soundscapes that the producer brings to his music, and with synth solos galore to lay down over his chuggy dance excursions, he’ll be whipping up a real winter warmer in Bristol this February.
