London’s Field Day festival returns for 2018 this June, debuting at a brand new location of Brockwell Park and bringing with it a massive lineup. Grammy award winning soulful singer and contemporary artist Erykah Badu takes the Friday headline slot, offering Field Day audiences her only UK performance of this year, which is bound to be something special. Joining her on Friday 1st June will be the likes of hip hop hero Loyle Carner, jazz group Ezra Collective, ‘The Bells’ creator Jeff Mills alongside drum enthusiast Tony Allen, 6Music presenter and eclectic selector Gilles Peterson as well as sets from Children of Zeus, The Comet is Coming, Madlib, NAO, Nubya Garcia and more. While Saturday 2nd June will see shapeshifting producer Four Tet offer out his unique electronic sound to a hangar-like structure in ‘The Barn’, talent will also come in the form of jazz-dweller Thundercat, NYC rapper Princess Nokia, Odd Future emcee Earl Sweatshirt, duo Mount Kimbie, grime don AJ Tracey, a set from Electronia DJ and producer Floating Points, music from Helena Hauff, Daphni, Ross From Friends, Jayda G and more.
