Jungle legend Goldie will embark on a series of UK shows next month, stopping off at a variety of venues across the country to take his appropriately named album The Journey Man on tour. Kicking off at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on Tuesday 14th November, he’ll end up on Bristol ten days later after stops at London, Brighton and Wolverhampton.
One of few rave success stories to have received an MBE for his services to UK music, Goldie is a highly esteemed figure in dance music, having released seminal releases in the 20 plus years that he has been active. Co-founder of Metalheadz, a game changing label in the drum and bass movement, Goldie has made himself a favourite producer and DJ through decades of tireless devotion to dance music, and is still a man in demand following this year’s warmly received LP. Crossing genres with a care-free attitude towards style, Goldie’s music constantly pushes the field forward, and so he’ll be an enchanting watch when he performs at some of the UK’s favourite concert halls next month, accompanied by members of the Heritage Orchestra.
