Goldie has made a real departure from his usual style with new track “Castaway”, dropping the usual fury of his drum and bass productions for snappy vocals and sultry horns. Composed in such a way that it wouldn’t sound out of place on a Justin Timberlake album, the track shows that Goldie is far from a one-trick pony, and sets the tone nicely for June 16th, when he will drop new album The Journey Man.
Goldie has a busy summer ahead, with festival sets at Common People in both Southampton and Oxford, Parklife in Manchester, MADE in Birmingham and London’s SW4. He’ll also be appearing at Outlook Festival in Croatia, which takes place at Punta Christo from Thursday 7th to Monday 11th of September.
