Manchester’s Hidden will be treated to a very special night at the hands of R&S Records on Saturday 7th October, with Mayday Soundsystem providing the power for Talaboman, Paula Temple, Space Dimension Controller and more to go deep. Spread over three floors with even more production and visuals than is usually expected of Hidden, the party is likely to stick around in the memory for quite some time.
As close to a DJ supergroup as underground music dares to step, Talaboman brings together the significant talents of Axel Boman and John Talabot, two musicians whose journeying techno explorations make for cerebral experiences on the dancefloor. Taking to the decks for four hours, the pair will demonstrate why their collaborative project is held in such high regard. Talaboman will be joined at Hidden by the irrepressible genius of Paula Temple, whose love for edge-skirting, experimental and unyielding techno has led to some of the most exciting releases of the last few years, not least the extraordinary Decon-Recon EP launched on her own Noise Manifesto imprint. A two-time R&S releasee, Temple encompasses the darker side of the label perfectly, and will beguile and command her audience with her extremely engaging and immersive selections.
A live set from Space Dimension Controller, as well as performances from Renaat Vandepapeliere and MAYDAY Soundsystem residents will consolidate the night, making it a really exciting prospect for any fans of meandering techno who find themselves in Manchester in the first week of October.
