DnB chameleon High Contrast will take his genre-blending productions to Electric Ballroom on Friday 23rd March, giving London a taste of his recently developed live set. Known for his cross-pollinated drum and bass excursions, which pull elements of rock, blues and soul, the producer last October debuted his live show at O2 Academy Brixton, and will have an even more refined set to show off in March.
Likely to explore new material as well as some of his classic tracks, High Contrast, whose real name is Lincoln Barrett, will play tunes from 2017 album Night Gallery in London, and judging by the way his sound has evolved over his six albums, there should be plenty of eclectic surprises in store. Recently gaining extra attention for the use of his riff-led thumper “Shotgun Mouthwash” in the T2: Trainspotting film soundtrack, he’s at the top of his game, and will be delivering a Hollywood performance in south London.
