Often cited as one of the most influential emcees of all time, Kool G Rap will be delivering his pioneering bars to an audience at London’s Jazz Cafe this June. With some of the biggest rap stars including Nas, Eminem and The Notorious B.I.G naming the Queens rapper as one of their blueprint examples with his unique storytelling style, focus on lyricisms and introduction of multisyllabic rhymes, Kool G Rap is to this day considered one of the biggest influences on the associated hip hop sound. Cutting his teeth as one half of duo Kool G Rap and DJ Polo, before quickly gaining acclaim for their sound and being given a platform by internationally renowned producer from Juice Crew Marley Marl, this pioneer of hip hop is still as relevant today as he was during his introduction onto the scene.
