One of the biggest series of events is back for 2018, and judging by the calibre of their opening weekend alone, this year’s edition of In:Motion is going to be an explosive one to say the least. The title of ‘24 Hours Of Dance’ promises just that, with a slew of high in demand acts taking to Motion in Bristol for hours and hours of all things dance music. From the techno of Amelie Lens to the electronica of Floating Points delivering a DJ set, there’s also a treat of David Rodigan offering his selections of reggae and dancehall, and Macky Gee representing the jump up drum and bass - it’s a more than versatile lineup catering to the needs of any dance music fan.
While Friday 28th September sees a bass fuelled lineup consisting of the iconic David Rodigan, DnB stars Redlight, DJ Zinc & AD as well as The Heatwave, DJ Decoy of Kurupt FM, Friction, Macky Gee, IC3, The Blast DJs and so much more, there’s plenty on offer for fans of the heavier drones of warbling bass sounds into the early hours of the morning.
Saturday 29th September is a techno and house haven as a party totalling up to sixteen hours includes a special slew of sets from Jackmaster b2b Jasper James to the likes of Joy Orbison and Floating Points, with treats also coming from Midland, Amelie Lens, Horse Meat Disco, Gideon, Orpheu The Wizard and so much more.
24 Hours Of Dance takes place over Friday 28th and Saturday 29th September at Bristol’s Motion venue.
