It’s rarely quiet at O2 Academy Leeds, and one look at the autumn and winter listings is all you need to see why. With the likes of J Hus, Tom Zanetti, Roots Manuva, Run The Jewels and Insane Clown Posse all lined up, the year will be ending in style, banishing the cold weather outside with the warmth of busy crowds and some of the best live artists around.

Monday 9th October signals the return of jangly guitar specialists Sundara Karma, with the month’s offerings also including Shy FX and Tom Zanetti & K.O Kane for fans of high-intensity dance music. Handing over to grime and hip-hop stars come the last quarter of the month, O2 Academy will be captivated by the sounds of J Hus and Roots Manuva, with US R&B crooner Akon sandwiched in between. A Garage Nation Fright Night with DJ Luck & MC Neat will also close out the month with a Halloween special.

Hip-hop also gets some representation in November thanks to Insane Clown Posse as well as Run the Jewels with Danny Brown. Wolf Alice, Happy Mondays and Benjamin Clementine also appear before the year is out, with early signs suggesting that 2018 will be another great year at O2 Academy, if March bookings of Everything Everything and Feeder are anything to go by.
