Glaswegian dance conductor Jasper James recently got to work his magic on Tiga’s “Eye Luv U”, and the result is a reinterpretation of the track as a warehouse tool with destructive properties. Dark and trippy, the remix takes elements of jacking house and crashes them together with robotic voices and relentless percussion, making it one that you can expect to hear out in the next few weeks. Draped in Glasgow’s famous grit, it’s worth checking out if you’re a fan of a little darkness with your dance.
Jasper James will be twisting tracks into bumping sets at Horizon Festival next month, warming him up for a sweltering summer of parties including Parklife Festival on Saturday 10th June and Hideout on Monday 26th June. Sure to make a stir, the producer and DJ will stand up to be counted in excellent company when Horizon gets underway, with the likes of Ben UFO, KiNK, Floating Points, Mala and more also heading to Andorra from Sunday 26th March to Sunday 2nd April.
