Josh Butler will head to Egg London for a night with Secondcity on Friday 18th August, with the Chicago-raised host offering the UK a taste of his revered The End party. Pairing a champion of Defected, Saved and Toolroom alongside a young Brit whose reputation has been swelling with every performance and release, the night will be a real spectacle in trans-atlantic house.
By now Secondcity has more than enough of an arsenal behind him to get bookings left, right and center, but new track “Kwelanga” on Toolroom indicates that he’s not going to rest on his laurels just yet. Already being hailed as one of the sounds of the 2017 summer, the track serves to show that Secondcity has gone into his Egg residency in fine form, and the Egg team will be excited to see what he’s pulled out the bag by bringing in the outstanding Josh Butler. Previously a recipient of DJ Mag’s Best of British Breakthrough DJ award, Butler has moved above and beyond what’s expected with each year in the business, and is riding plenty of momentum thanks to a succession of rave reviews. Also on the books all over Ibiza as well as at goliaths like The Warehouse Project, he’ll bring a fresh take on house and techno to the tables.
