True to form, Junction 2’s first announcement for 2018 shows a huge lineup including Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz, Adam Beyer and plenty more. Set to build on another successful year at Boston Manor Park, the festival will again light up London when it gets underway on Saturday 9th June.
Even after the closure of his Ibiza home Space, Carl Cox’s stock as a DJ couldn’t be much higher. A favourite across the world for decades now, he’s as close to deity status as anyone in house music has achieved. Famed more for her techno explorations, Russian trendsetter Nina Kraviz is a similarly weighty booking, as the festival’s usual powerhouse Adam Beyer. It doesn’t end there though, with a DJ set from Innervisions co-founder Ame, plus contoured bass music from Tale Of Us, Joy Orbison, Len Faki, Mind Against and Pan-Pot.
As if those names weren’t enough for London techno fans, Junction 2 will also see the idiosyncratic minimalism of Sonja Moonear as well as Scuba presenting SCB. Nicolas Lutz, Dense & Pika, Marcus Worgull and more also appear, and with more to follow, Junction 2 doesn’t look like slowing down anytime soon.
