Two heavyweights of northwest nightlife will go toe to toe in Manchester on Saturday 22nd April, as Kaluki and Circus take command of the Albert Hall for a bout featuring Luciano and Skream.
Tickets go on sale 9am Wednesday 8th March.
Taking top spot on the bill will be Swiss DJ and producer Luciano. Lucien Nicolet has had a lasting effect on underground dance since the mid 90s, with his alluring influence noticeably felt on both sides of the decks. Exploits ranging from countless releases on his Cadenza label to Vagabundos and Luciano & Friends parties weigh in to make Luciano one of the most prominent figures on the scene, even without a motion of his astute selections and refined DJ’ing craft. A DJ with a similarly influential touch, Croydon’s Skream has journeyed to the top by way of dubstep, house and more recently techno. With a nimble record collection able to adapt to a party’s wants and needs, Skream is a reliable acquisition if sonic fireworks are the order of the night.
Also stepping up to the plate will be Detlef and Kaluki regulars Pirate Copy and Pete Zorba.
