Kaluki are poised to head back to Manchester’s Albert Hall once again in the coming months, returning to their home turf for what shapes up to be an eagerly anticipated fixture with German label Desolat. Taking place on Saturday 3rd March, the show will feature sets from Desolat innovator and head honcho Loco Dice, Jackmaster and Fuse’s Enzo Siraguza.
Loco Dice is a revered name in many circles of underground dance. The German producer and DJ has lead a charge with his Desolat label since its inception, overseeing the release of a brazen collection of techno records that carry a characteristically warming tinge. Comparably prolific at the helm of the dance floor, the Dusseldorf native’s prowess and stature behind the decks is as equally in demand as the records cut by his label.
An unassuming figure that’s happy to pick up the party where the last DJ left off - before mapping an entirely different route by way of his encyclopaedic record collection - Jackmaster’s mercurial skills set him apart from the rest simply off the back of track selection. With an ability to delve into anything from disco, house or techno, the Scottish DJ’s bag of tricks never fails in conjuring a certified party atmosphere.
Further performances on the night are set to come from Fuse London’s Enzo Sirguza, Francisco Allendes and Pirate Copy.
