A massive lineup for 2018’s edition of London’s Lovebox Festival saw the likes of Childish Gambino, Wu Tang Clan, Skepta, SZA, NERD and more further secure the weekend of music as one of the stand out dates of the summer, and for their 2019 incarnation, they’ve somehow guaranteed an even bigger affair, with a list of completely unmissable acts taking to Gunnersbury Park this July. Friday will see the insatiable Solange headline, and ever since her incredibly high in demand appearance in 2017, which saw her stage swarmed with people desperate for a glimpse, only a headline slot would suit. Joining her, lo-fi hip hop rapper Loyle Carner, DJ Kaytranada, Solomun, Chicago house icon Green Velvet, neo-jazz duo Children Of Zeus and more.
Saturday’s lineup will see Chance The Rapper headline, delivering tracks from his back catalogue, and following the fresh reveal of a brand new album drop in July, there’s also the promise of hearing some of his newest material live. Four Tet also joins the lineup, and UK exclusives see rap supergroup Brockhampton take to the stage, as well as H.E.R. Rap from Action Bronson, DJ sets from Annie Mac, Patrick Topping, Jayda G, Ross From Friends, Charlotte de Witte, Krystal Klear and more are also announced, with the likes of Lizzo, CupcakKe, David Rodigan and The Outlook Orchestra and more completing the first phase reveal.
