A fresh batch of acts have been added to the lineup for Field Day 2017, with Loyle Carner and iconic punk poet Dr John Cooper Clarke featuring in the latest announcement. Also joining the bill today is Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, BBC Radio 6 Music DJ Tom Ravenscroft and Tom Demac.
The newly announced names will all appear alongside the likes of Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus, Nicolas Jaar, Moodymann, Run The Jewels, Abra and many more at Victoria Park, London, on Saturday 3rd June.
Two wordsmiths adept at painting a reflection of society with a poetic intensity, the additions of Loyle Carner and Dr John Cooper Clarke significantly raise the calibre of lyrical prowess on show at Field Day 2017. Following the release of his debut LP Yesterday’s Gone in February, Loyle Carner has blossomed into the shining light of UK hip-hop thanks to his informed hooks that peerlessly roll with jazz laden instrumentals. Another artist with bags of talent to share is Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, who’s well equipped to limber up the Field Day crowd when unloading his full live set.
Field Day 2017 tickets are on sale now.
