Birmingham’s MADE Festival returns for another annual edition in August of 2020, bringing with it a high calibre list of acts across an eclectic range of styles, from bass driven beats to some absolute OG UKG. With a lineup this big comes an inevitable venue upgrade as the Brummy day of music has moved from its humble home of the city’s Perry Park to the impressive location of Sandwell Valley Country Park. Headlining this year’s summer party is the iconic uk garage group The Streets. Fronted by Mike Skinner, the collective’s careers span decades, staying relevant throughout with their unique take on the genre.
Joining The Streets, the likes of SASASAS, Holy Goof, Hybrid Minds ft. Tempza, Gorgon City, Shy FX, Wilkinson, Flava D and more are responsible for the bass-fuelled sounds, with each offering their own brand of DnB, dub or bassline to eager crowds this year. Also billed, UK rapper and afrobeat favourer Stefflon Don takes a slot, as does fellow rapper Jay1. House sets will be delivered from iconic producer Artwork and high in demand DJ Sonny Fodera this year. With more acts yet to be announced, MADE 2020 is shaping up to be quite the party.
