Martin Garrix has been named number one in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs Poll this year. The Dutch producer was given the trophy at this year’s ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) awarded by friend, collaborator and EDM superstar David Guetta. In case being crowned at the top wasn’t an honour enough, Garrix has retained this title after last year becoming the youngest DJ and producer to be awarded. At only 21 years old and having only started his musical endeavour five years previous, Garrix is continuing to top global charts, and shows no sign of stopping any time soon as the tease snippet of a brand new track in collaboration with One Republic’s Ryan Tedder also caused a stir among ADE attendees.
Martin Garrix heads to Creamfields’ purpose built Steel Yard structure at Liverpool’s Docklands on Saturday 25th November, following Armin Van Buuren's headline on Saturday 18th November and Cream Classical, curated by K-Klass and featuring Faithless on Friday 24th November.
