Resonance Records took to DJ Mag’s studio last week for over five hours of USB-fuelled house music, with Max Chapman, Citizenn and Latmun lining up behind four CDJs for the magazine lock-in party. Working their way through a ton of variations on house and tech house, the party crew demonstrated the trademark crisp beats and melodic loops that the label puts out, showcasing plenty of the artists that have made Resonance such a big presence in the Beatport charts over the last few years.
Resonance Records started in 2012 a mere months after boss Max Chapman had first discovered his love of music production, as he explained to us when we interviewed him for our In Conversation series last week. Set to play out a fair bit this year, Max will be appearing at Panama, Amsterdam in early March, where he will perform as part of the Cutting Edge Amsterdam Weekender. For any UK-based fans, he will also be at Egg London’s Promised Land & Funkinyou Easter special on Sunday 16th April, as well as Parklife Festival at Heaton Park in Manchester in June.
