Motion’s summer schedule is hotting up considerably this year, as they take full advantage of the warm weather, hosting some stellar acts in their Crane Yard outdoor space for an incredible August Saturday. Signalling two years since the launch of their sassy and saucy Bitch, Please! parties, Motion are inviting some stellar DJs to not only celebrate this occasion, but also to celebrate their inclusive-of-all-individuals ethos, with Bitch, Please! continuously pushing progression of the LGBTQ+ community to the forefront.
Hailing from Brooklyn and claiming a deserved space in Detroit with his staple favours, Mike Servito will be serving sounds from those sleepless cities as he’s invited to select from his famed back catalogue of house and techno, promising to unpredictably flit between the two styles and hit everything in between. Joining Servito at this year’s party will be fellow Brooklyn producer Octo Octa, who not only is a dazzling DJ and producer in her house mixes, but also an important figure in the electronic music world, as a trans activist and role model. Also set to offer their sounds following on from their boogie-inducing sets of 2017, the return of Em Williams and Christophe are welcomed back warmly, with Bitch, Please! residents ZenZero, Butch Queen and Amour Ami also joining.
This party heads to Bristol’s Motion on Saturday 4th August, with a safe space policy being enforced by the venue so absolutely everybody can enjoy themselves!
