DnB royalty will be on show at O2 Academy Newcastle on Saturday 27th May as Chase & Status unleash the full force of their favourite records. Donning their DJ suits to show why they’re one of the biggest acts in UK bass music, they’ll have no shortage of support from the Newcastle residents, so you’ll have to move fast if you want to be among their number.

Few names come with more respect in drum and bass circles than Chase & Status, whose tracks have pulled the genre into the mainstream almost single handedly. Their last two albums No More Idols and Brand New Machine both reached number 2 in the UK charts, showing that the London duo have transcended the underground and become a household name. Clearly well informed on how to give the public exactly what they want, Chase & Status can be expected to deliver the goods without even breaking a sweat; the same almost definitely can’t be said of their audience, however, who’ll be feeling the heat as they let loose to the breakneck beats and euphoric vocals that signify the pair’s productions.
