Nick Murphy, fka Chet Faker, will play Manchester’s Albert Hall on his upcoming European tour this winter.
The European tour is set to begin this coming November with the Manchester date, organised by The Warehouse Project and Now Wave, scheduled take place on Saturday 2nd December.
Tickets go on sale 9am Thursday 11th May.
Moving away from his former Chet Faker alias in 2016, Nick Murphy has quickly risen to become an internationally recognised breakout star following the release of his debut album Built On Glass, released in 2014. Initially catching the attention with a cover of Blackstreet’s ‘No Diggity’, the Aussie Native has since gone on to work with fellow compatriots Flume and The Temper Trap, while also recently lending his vocals to Bonobo’s newest album Migration.
Mixing together a smooth blend of husky vocals and wholesome piano chords, Murphy’s own productions shake up a cocktail that blends down tempo electronica and progressive pop, with his latest single ‘Stop Me (Stop You)’ demonstrating no distinct change in musical direction following the departure from his Faker moniker.
