Studio scientist Nicolas Jaar is set to make his way to Liverpool this summer for what will be the Chilean’s first live appearance in the city.
Taking place at innovative arts hotbed Invisible Wind Factory on Friday 2nd June, the show will be staged by two of Liverpool’s leading promoters in ENRG and Chibuku and feature Jaar performing a full live set.
Enigmatic in image and striking in sound design, Nicolas Jaar is widely regarded as one of the leading left-field producers of electronic music. Fusing the high altitude landscapes of his native Chile and experiences on New York City’s heady dance circuit, Jaar offers up an idiosyncratic blend of pulsating bass and native instrumentation that bends dancefloors into an offer kilter, avant-garde shape. Boasting an equally formidable reputation as a live performer, Jaar is appropriately equipped to compliment the bespoke lighting designs housed in Invisible Wind Factory.
Following the release of his second studio album Sirens in September 2016, Nicolas Jaar has taken his live show on a world tour, with his scheduled stop in Liverpool arriving amidst a flourishing festival season.
Tickets to Nicolas Jaar’s live appearance at Invisible Wind Factory are on sale now.
