O2 Academy Leeds have lined up a mighty list of acts heading to their venue over the next few months and there’s a little bit of just about everything taking over the venue, from classic rock sounds all the way to some of the most championed electronic artists on the circuit. On April 4th, Scouse indie-pop legends The Zutons return following years apart to celebrate the 15th year anniversary of their seminal record ‘Who Killed The Zutons’, promising live renditions of those favoured tracks that founded their fame, while Manchester’s musical icon Peter Hook fronts his band The Light on Saturday February 9th, with the bassist performing newer tracks, as well as those infamous singles from both New Order and Joy Division. Electro legend and cake-throwing connoisseur Steve Aoki takes to the venue on Monday 18th February, delivering his unique brand of house sounds while more ambient sounds from Electronica act Jon Hopkins is hosted on Friday 1st March as part of his extensive Singularly live tour. With the likes of Fun Lovin’ Criminals, KT Tunstall, Kid Ink and more also headed to O2 Academy Leeds, don’t miss out on an incredible season of music!
