Leeds’ Wire will host an album launch for SpectraSoul’s How We Live on Friday 24th November, with special guests including LSB and Submorphics lending support. Giving SpectraSoul 2 hours to work their magic, the Overflow night will be another quality offering of drum and bass from deep within the Call Lane basement.
Over ten years after first forming, DnB duo SpectraSoul have made their name on some of the genre’s best respected labels, including Metalheadz, Exit Records and Critical, also becoming staples on Friction’s Shogun Audio imprint. Regarded as leaders in their special brand of deep, dancefloor-focussed productions and warm, emotive grooves, SpectraSoul stand far apart from much of the more generic drum and bass that dominates the scene, and never fail to excite their audience whether performing or producing in the studio.
Overflow favourite LSB has already racked up 7 appearances for the Leeds crew, so he’ll be well versed in satisfying the Wire crowd, but a debut for Detroit’s Submorphics will add an element of the unknown into the mix, with residents Loz Contreras, Colossus & Imprint completing the bill.
