A killer combination of Peggy Gou and Palms Trax will make Saturday 11th November a crazy night at The Brickworks in Nottingham. Two of the best selectors to breakthrough over the past couple of years, both Berlin-based artists will provide the pinnacle in techno, house and other shades of dance music as they top a hefty bill.
Korean DJ and producer Peggy Gou is quickly becoming one of the biggest draws on the circuit, with her fun-filled sets throwing together jacking house, plenty of acid and pounding techno to earn her plaudits around Europe. With a musical understanding shaped by formative experiences in Seoul, London and her current home in the German capital, Gou has proven a skilled producer whose natural charisma and flair shines through in her creations as well as it does in her mixes. A natural leader on the dancefloor, she’s getting better with each set, and will attract a doe-eyed crowd as she deals out the spoils of years spent searching for club slammers.
Often stepping a little closer to disco, Palms Trax is another whose recent performances have seen him rise up lineups with amazing pace, his eclectic tastes making him a relentlessly interesting curator of music. Having burst onto the scene with the flawless “Equation” on Lobster Theremin way back at the start of the label, the British producer has kicked on from the promise shown in those early days to become a certified expert in all things dance.
Danny Fry, Synic and other guests will also provide support on a stellar night out in Nottingham.
