For a special intimate show, Pharoahe Monch claims a date at London’s Brixton Jamm this March. Hailing from Queens, New York, Pharoahe Monch is has been on the scene since the 90s. Starting off his musical career as one half of hip hop duo Organized Konfusion, in which Pharoahe beatboxed before his rap skills were discovered, the emcee quickly became known for his lyrical skill and to this day is well known - and mostly celebrated - for his completely unique skill in the emceeing game. Writing and delivering lyrics plied with intelligence and complexity, similar to his style of rap, which uses multisyllabic and internal rhyming styles, Monch has created four studio albums, his debut Internal Affairs featuring the infamous ‘Simon Says’ and gaining him acclaim as an international rapper. Now, The Doctors Order bring Pharoahe Monch to Brixton Jamm in London on Thursday 22nd March.
