Playaz' Annix heading to Old Red Bus Station in December

Playaz' Annix heading to Old Red Bus Station in December

Andrew Kemp | Latest News

Drum and bass hotshots Annix will be heading to Leeds’ Old Red Bus Station on Friday 1st December, playing out as guests of License to Jungle. Brought about with the help of Jungle Syndicate, Vision State, Central Beatz, JUNGLISM and Unified Soul, the event will showcase one of the most exciting signings that DJ Hype’s Playaz Recordings has to offer.

Having signed to Playaz in 2012, Cheltenham duo Scott Farrell and Mike Leeder have spent the past five years making Annix into a household name within drum and bass circles, releasing multiple EPs and two full albums. Also operating under the aliases Konichi and Decimal Bass respectively, Farrell and Leeder have put significant work into refining their high-paced rattling productions, incorporating soft pads and subtle melodies as they borrow elements of liquid DnB for their lighter tracks and the weightier side of dubstep for their club devastators. With both sides of the coin in their arsenal, a thrilling set can be expected when they arrive at the distinctive Old Red Bus Station on Vicar Lane.
