Tuesdays at Privilege will be under the spell of Resistance between 17th July and 11th September, the club turning into a techno institution with the likes of Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex and Seth Troxler on the team sheet. An absolutely whopping selection of en vogue DJs, the Resistance acts are the biggest names in the game at the moment, and perfectly befitting of a club that can call itself the biggest in the whole world.
Resistance is by now accepted as one of the most influential collectives in electronic music, the label boasting an endless stream of killer artists that could easily be mistaken for a comprehensive who’s who of underground dance music. One of only a handful of imprints capable of taking on a space like Privilege using only artists on its own roster, Resistance has become globally influential with Carl Cox as international ambassador, a fact that demonstrates the gigantuan reputation by itself. Cox will also be appearing at one or more of the Tuesday night parties, joining some similarly huge house music legends in Sasha b2b John Digweed and Dubfire as the old guard representatives.
Whilst those names have been praised to high heaven for more than a decade, this year’s Resistance residency also boasts the powers that be of today’s music scene, with Drumcode boss Adam Beyer, festival headliners like Joseph Capriati and Loco Dice, UK top dogs Eats Everything and Jamie Jones to name but a few. Techno heavyweight Nicole Moudaber also makes the cut, as do tech-house connoisseurs Paco Osuna and Pan-Pot, putting an end to any doubt as to which Ibiza club should have your attention on Tuesdays once summer hits.
