Leeds’ Sheaf St can look forward to the biggest Tuesday night in recent memory as Sansuke return with two 1-800 Dinosaur favourites on 13th March. Offering off-kilter rhythms and plenty of dancefloor excitement, Trim and Airhead combine growling low-end dance sounds with grime, and will have plenty to keep the audience entertained in Leeds.
Close allies of James Blake, both Trim and Airhead will be well known to fans of UK bass and the left-field electronics that the likes of Mount Kimbie are celebrated for. A regular on R&S and Hemlock, Airhead is a purveyor of weighty, oddball techno, whilst also seen featuring in James Blake’s touring band, whilst Trim enters from the opposite end of the spectrum, as a highly rated grime MC. Sure to combine with some force, they’ll bring plenty of energy to Sheaf St.
Support on the night comes from Sansuke residents and Leeds rising stars The Botleys, freshly anointed residents of party collective Brudenell Groove. Spinning through the same Pioneer sound system enjoyed in Fabric’s Room 2, they’ll each bring their own character to a night that promises to be memorable.
