Drum and bass star Saul Milton, better known as part of Chase & Status, is to oversee an exhibition at the Fashion Space Gallery in London from the start of February to April 21st. Looking at the far-reaching influence of rave and UK garage during the 90s and 2000s, the exhibition will explore fashion, trends and broader culture by recreating clubbing scenes from the memories of performers and punters, using them to demonstrate how partying played a large part in the growth of various fashion brands.
The exhibition is part of a series titled RTRN II JUNGLE, and is curated by Tory Turk with focus on trends that developed in London and Bristol clubs. Likely to coincide with new material from Chase & Status, the project is part of a wider exploration of rave culture held at London College of Fashion.
Chase & Status already have a few dates booked in for the summer festival season, with Hideout and South West Four having enlisted their services for June and August respectively.
