Stoke’s party scene will once again owe a great debt to The Move, who bring a wealth of talent to the midlands city this spring. Kicking off with an extended set from Skream, before Norman Jay, Heidi and Detlef follow suit, the party starters will show why they’ve earned such a reverent band of followers among the Stoke-on-Trent crowds.
Few underground artists have caused as much of a sensation as Skream, whose initial ventures into dance music kickstarted the dubstep movement back in the early noughties. Now a wide-reaching star whose endeavours stretch from house and techno to disco, the selector will take to The Sugarmill on Saturday 3rd March, and the same venue will also be graced by Heidi and Detlef a matter of weeks later for an Easter Bank Holiday special.
That’s not all either, as sandwiched in between those two events, The Move have a spell at The Exchange to look forward to, with Norman Jay MBE set to play an exclusive disco set on Saturday 17th March. A bright spring lies ahead.
