Not shy of experimenting or dipping his toe into different sounds, Skream’s career covers a broad spectrum of styles. From somewhat of a dubstep prodigy to an in demand and versatile producer covering the likes of jungle, DnB, grime, garage, disco, techno and more, any new release from Oliver Jones is an unpredictable and exciting bit of news. Ahead of the release of a brand new fabriclive mix, a selection totalling at an impressive 75 minutes, he drops ‘An Ode To Mr Smith’. The single seems to sit somewhere on the borders of both techno and house, with bouncing percussion dominating rhythms throughout and sharp as knives melodies stabbing through the cracks, Skream’s one consistency seems to be the high quality of his releases.
