There’s a reason freshers week gets such hype; setting the tone for the year ahead, the pre-university ritual of exploring your new hometown’s most exciting nightspots might take you to a club that will remain your second home for the rest of the year. Over in Leeds, any such trip to HiFi on Saturday 23rd September may well offer just that, with the launch of So Fresh So Clean sure to add the icing to the cake as you complete your first week of university life.
The nineties and noughties were prime time for RnB jams and smooth hip-hop, and So Fresh So Clean aims to summon that energy again with its old skool focused nights. Flitting between the best tunes from the USA, UK and more, the revered hip-hop crew have made their name in London at places like Brixton Jamm and Queen of Hoxton, also appearing at the likes of Fresh Island Festival in Croatia, and with a monthly slot at HiFi now booked in, they’ll be doing the same at Leeds this year. House party vibes, killer tunes and a crowd that knows the true meaning of partying; what could be better than that?
