It’s a label that needs no introduction and a venue that continues to be the undisputed heartbeat of dance music culture in Birmingham. On Saturday 25th November, drum and bass giants Hospital Records return to The Rainbow Venues with a special line-up littered with surprises and exclusives.
The night will be headlined by Hospitality regulars Fred V & Grafix, who after a busy winter schedule focusing on their live show will be putting their instruments aside to play one of their renowned DJ sets, which consistently exhibit euphoric synths and captivating vocals.
Two other names synonymous with Hospitality line-ups, Etherwood and Logistics, will also be bringing their majestic liquid tones in an unsuspected but mouth-watering format. The two will be going b2b with a world exclusive performance that will have liquid fans everywhere salivating.
Not only do the exclusives stop there, as Hospital Records powerhouse Danny Byrd will be putting his usual upbeat soul-inspired melodies aside and running through the history of drum and bass with a unique jungle set that has only been witnessed on few occasions.
Other treats on the bill include Krakota, a producer who has quickly risen through Hospital’s ranks with his hearty bass-fueled sound, and the man flying the flag for the growing drum and bass scene in Japan – Makoto. Fresh from releasing his debut Hospital album, Salvation, Makoto’s 70’s inspired soul music will leave the crowd clutching on to the distant memory of summer with a hefty serving of rolling drums and funky basslines.
To add to an already eye-catching line-up, on the night there will also be not one but two special guest appearances - whose identities are yet to be revealed.
