Manchester’s O2 Ritz venue is to host a lineup of some of the best British rap acts as they host Stampede Festival in July. English-Iraqi rapper and political activist Lowkey made his return to music last year, meaning that not only will he be offering his OG material to a Manchester audience, but there’ll be more socially aware bars to wrap your head around as he headlines this hip hop showcase. Joining him are fellow MCs Mic Righteous - who has performed for the likes of fashion designer Vivienne Westwood in the past and who’s politically charged lyrics have cause quite a stir in the rap game - as well as The Moods, Lunar C and Fisco & Raptor.
