Ten years since their inception and The Mouse Outfit are hitting the road this May to celebrate the release of their fourth album. Combining classic hip hop beats with elements of jazz, soul, funk, reggae and more underneath some of the most clever lyricisms within the emceeing world, the extensive eight piece collective are well known for their electrifying live shows which feature a list of special guests, as does their new album, with twelve vocalists offering their talents to the new seventeen track record. Featuring the likes of Manchester's trap hop artist IAMDDB, The Mouse Outfit may just have succeeded in producing their most eclectic sound yet.
On Friday 18th May, the genre fusion group will perform in their home town of Manchester, joined by very special guests The Herbaliser on warm up duty - signalling an album release party unlike any other. Thursday 24th May sees the hip hop production troup take to London’s Brixton Jamm to continue their celebrations. Expect breakbeat samples of the coldest beats in hip hop, laced with interwoven staples of funky basslines, reggae grooves, jazz instruments, soulful sounds and more, completed with some unrivalled rhyming bars.
