London venue The Nest celebrates one of the most iconic video games of a generation this weekend, with a Vice City tribute party on Saturday 12th October. Offering the finest in 80s dance music, Hawaiian shirts and, of course, inflatable palm trees to set the mood, the party is one for fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise and its spectacular soundtrack.
Alongside being a favourite among the gaming community for its third-person shooter excitement and open-ended gameplay, Vice City was revered for its array of house, disco and hip-hop belters, supplied by in game radio stations Wildstyle FM, Flash FM and Fever 105. Featuring samba cuts, breakbeat and more, the radio stations transcend background music and became an attraction in themselves, and with that being the case, there’s no doubt that a party in the same vein will go down a treat this weekend.
