The ninth edition of Tramlines Festival will be an exclusively outdoor event, spanning three of Sheffield’s best park spaces and allowing the festival to bring its biggest lineup to date.
Tramlines returns for a ninth year on Friday 21st July, running until Sunday 23rd to treat Sheffield to three outdoor stages of music and the festival’s most thorough lineup yet. Featuring headline shows from All Saints, The Libertines and Toots and the Maytals, as well as other high profile performances from The Coral, Loyle Carner, Metronomy and several others, Tramlines will again show why it is considered one of the North’s best music festivals.
Changing things up from its usual format, this year’s Tramlines Festival will be held across three inner-city parks, with Ponderosa, Devonshire Green and Endcliffe Park all getting turned into picturesque music venues for the first exclusively outdoors event in the festival’s history. Sets across a wide range of genres are scheduled, with rising stars like Nadia Rose, Cabbage and Goat Girl joining more established names like Omar Souleyman, We Are Scientists, The Pharcyde, Akala and Cate Le Bon.
An exciting summer awaits Sheffield’s throngs of music fans, with more announcements still on the way.
